Zephirine  Drouhin
Bourbon
1868
We have this rose planted in two locations, and its growth is different in both. In one area, it is very large, with canes up to 10', but in a sunnier area, the canes are only about 5' or so. It is a thornless rose, so is a good one to consider for any entry way or place where children might be playing. The blooms are bright pink and have a heavenly scent. The new growth is a wine-purple, making it an attractive rose even out of bloom.
