![]() ![]() One of the few Rugosa roses to do well in this climate (most are better grown north of I-10), `Sir Thomas Lipton' is a wonderful hedge rose. It blooms off and on throughout the growing season, mostly in spring in fall. The scented blooms are creamy white with a delicious fragrance. It is very thorny, making it ideal if used as a 6 to 8 foot screen. Of course, the leathery foliage of the Rugosa's are always a show stopper any time of the year.
