The Vintage Rosery
Unless otherwise noted, all photographs were taken of the roses in our gardens located in Needville, Texas (zone 8b.)
Gertrude Jekyll, the Victorian gardener, suggests planting this rose on a pillar or post. Its canes grow to 6' and it can be kept pruned as a shrub also. The medium sized blooms are deep pink and fragrant.
