Lady Banks 'Yellow'
Species
1824

Our Lady Banks Yellow was planted under a tree several years ago and forgotten. The canes found their own way up the trunk and branches and are close to 30' tall. April 2004

Rosa Banksiae Lutea is the botanical name of this beautiful species rose. The small flowers are double, yellow and unscented. It looks fabulous planted next to a tree that it can grow up into. It is also thornless and seems to have no problems with diseases, insects or deer. Freezing cold temperatures are its worst enemy. With canes up to 20' in length, this is a rose that will last generations.
