In typical Tea rose fashion, the new growth on `Amazone' is red. The buds are golden in color, and since it is a seedling of the apricot Tea `Safrano', it has the same cream/yellow coloring. The bush will get from 4' to 6' tall. The flowers are 3” across and reflex at maturity.
Bred in Lyon France in 1872 by Ducher from a Safrano seed.
