![]() ![]() The reddest flowers in our many rose gardens belong to `Altissimo'. The blooms are a true blood red, which when they age, don't turn purple/red. The flowers are large, flat and nearly single (only 8-10 petals). It is a moderate climber, growing to only about 10'. The new growth is almost as pretty as the blooms.
![]() 'Altissimo' loves our Texas heat as there are blooms almost all year and is very disease resistant.
![]() Bred in France in 1966.
Parentage: 'Tenor' x seedling.
